Belltown Power acquires Tom nan Clach and Mean Moor wind farms from Infinergy

Today, Belltown Power backed by Oaktree Capital announced that it has acquired the 39.1MW Tom nan Clach CfD wind project and the 6.9MW Mean Moor wind project from Infinergy.

The Tom nan Clach project, located in Scotland, is in construction, scheduled for commissioning in November 2018, and the Mean Moor project, located in Cumbria, is operational.

Michael Kaplan, CEO at Belltown Power, said “We are pleased to have added a CFD wind project to our growing portfolio, along with another ROC wind project, bringing our total assets to £335m committed across 22 UK renewable generation projects and 220MW of renewable power. Infinergy has done an excellent job developing the project and we look forward to their continued involvement in building and operating these projects. We are also excited to start our funding relationship for UK renewables with Oaktree Capital with two such attractive assets.

Esbjorn Wilmar, CEO at Infinergy, said “We are delighted with Belltown Power’s involvement in Tom nan Clach and Mean Moor. With an extensive track record in wind farm investment, Belltown is well placed to continue as owners and managers of the projects.”
