Savills sells 50% share: Infinergy now fully owned by Dutch renewable energy company KDE

Savills, the international property consultants, has recently sold its 50% share in Infinergy. The shares were bought by the other joint venture partner renewable energy company Koop Duurzame Energie (KDE) of the Netherlands which makes Infinergy a full subsidiary of KDE.

Infinergy was set up in 2003 to identify sites in the UK for the development of wind farms. As Infinergy’s activities were non-core to Savills and with planning permission for our wind farm projects still in the pipeline, Savills made the strategic decision to continue investment in its core businesses only. However, Savills will continue working closely with Infinergy based on their estate management and planning expertise.

Fully financially backed by KDE, Infinergy will continue with all existing activities, i.e. the development, construction and exploitation of onshore wind farms. The company will also continue to invest in and grow its portfolio in the renewable energy industry.

Infinergy’s registered office address will now be 30 West Borough, Wimborne, Dorset, BH21 1NF.
